Hattala Sarbojanin Durgotsab
Celebrating Heritage, Culture, and Devotion since our inception.
Our Heritage & History
Rampurhat Hattala Sarbojanin Durgotsav: A blend of 73 years of tradition and glory. Started in 1954, through the blessings of elders, enthusiasm of the youth, and collective neighborhood effort, it has evolved from a local event into a cherished festival for the entire Birbhum district.
1954: The Inauguration
Started when there were only a handful of Durga Puja celebrations in the town of Rampurhat. It marked the beginning of an unstoppable journey of success.
Milestones
We have achieved numerous milestones, repeatedly earning accolades such as 'Best Idol' and 'Best Puja'. We also hold the unique distinction of creating the largest idol of the Goddess in the entire district.
Innovations
First to introduce the concept of a 'Theme Song' to Durga Puja in Birbhum. Constantly committed to surprising the people with fresh ideas and innovative themes every year.
Today (2026)
Not confined to a single club or neighborhood, it is a source of pride for the entire district. We cherish and uphold our unique traditions, emotions, and artistic spirit.
